Since its inception in 2003, the China Animal Husbandry Expo (CAHE) has been successfully convened for 22 sessions. It stands as the most frequented, largest in scale, most broadly radiating and driving, and most brand-influential comprehensive mega-event within China's animal husbandry sector. It is also recognized as one of the world's premier top-tier brand events in the global livestock industry. Through a series of large-scale activities including exhibitions, business negotiations, forums and conferences, achievement promotions, case studies, and product tastings, CAHE has evolved into a vital platform for the domestic and international animal husbandry industry. It serves to showcase new technologies and products, share new experiences and concepts, and jointly explore new collaborations and development pathways, making significant contributions to the high-quality development of China's animal husbandry and the advancement of rural revitalization.

The year 2026 marks the beginning of China's 15th Five-Year Plan period. Building upon the achievements and experiences of the 14th Five-Year Plan in animal husbandry, the 23rd CAHE will be guided by new quality productive forces. It will take the promotion of high-quality development in animal husbandry as its main line, driven by innovation, under the theme: "Showcasing New Dynamics, Sharing New Achievements, Energizing New Drivers, Leading New Development." The expo plans to feature over 8,000 booths across a total exhibition space of 180,000 square meters. The exhibits will cover the entire industrial chain of animal husbandry, including: domestic and international livestock and poultry breeding and deep processing; specialty and high-quality animal-derived foods; feed; veterinary drugs and vaccines; animal health products; feed additives; livestock production and farming-related equipment; environmental protection and manure treatment equipment; biomass energy; grassland agriculture and its deep-processed products; packaging and transportation; and comprehensive services for animal husbandry.

To further stimulate the consumption upgrade of animal products, building on the success of the 2025 "Savor Qingdao Beer & Taste Premium Animal Products" tasting event, a large-scale tasting event titled "Savor the Flavors of Tianfu, Taste Premium Animal Products" will be held concurrently. The expo will also host over 100 high-level conferences and events, including the "3rd Conference on High-Quality Development of Animal Husbandry" and the "5th (2026) Smart Animal Husbandry Conference." A special exhibition zone will be dedicated to showcasing the achievements of animal husbandry development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, ensuring this will be another grand premier event in the global animal husbandry industry. As the organizer, the China Animal Husbandry Association sincerely invites domestic and international enterprises, institutions, organizations, and individuals in the animal husbandry industry and related fields to actively participate in the exhibition and conference, jointly drawing a new blueprint for industry development.
